Eric was a fun and fascinating man.  I recall with fondness when he and Ivy hosted Kathy and me during a brief  UK visit many years ago.  For quite a few years I (as Entomological Reprint Specialists) was his North American agent for Classey publications, and have been a principal distributor of the Moths of America series since its inception.

As Assistant Secretary of The Lepidopterists' Society, I have taken the liberty of preparing a brief obituary for the next issue of our News.

Eric had a rich life, and I am happy to have shared a part of it.
