Once Eric came to visit us in Staffordshire and we have a canal side garden that joins the neighbours without visible boundaries.  Eric shot off down a steep set of steps to the canal and disappeared out of sight.  He was found eventually by neighbours two bungalows away - head down, bottom up poking in their long grass!

David and I went to Belize and in a remote lodge found some youngish men collecting bugs.  They were so impressed that we had met and were related to Eric that WE were treated with the greatest respect.
