Sadly, I never met Eric and indeed it was not until after my mother's death that I corresponded with him. I supplied him with some copies of Grandfather's old photos and he was able to fill in some gaps in my knowledge of the family. Whilst I knew many of the relatives on my Father's side, I knew little about the Classey side. I believe my sister has a copy of the family tree that Eric drew up and we both plan to look deeper into the history of both sides of our family. I keep saying that it will be a project for my retirement. |
